{Black Friday}

I can not believe that it is already 3 before Thanksgiving, where has this year gone? It seems like just yesterday we were entering into 2013 and now it is almost 2014. In honor of all the amazing things that have happened with Tiffany Ringrose Photography this year, I have decided to release my Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal early! Yes, that is right I am releasing my deal today!

Just last weekend I did my very first Vendor show at the Clareceville High School Holiday Craft and Vendor Show. I struggled for almost a week on what to order as samples for that show. It then finally hit me, what about ordering some products that I don't yet offer? That is when I decided that I wanted to offer Mounted prints! Before you ask why mounted prints, let me explain. These mounted prints are amazing! They are more steady then a regular print and you can even add a ribbon to them and hang them from the ribbon!  In fact, I am ordering some for not only my office where I have my clients come in for their ordering session, but for my home as well! I just love these and they look great!

Therefore, I have decided that for this year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday's deal I am including a FREE Mounted 8x10 with every regular priced session that is paid for and booked! That is a $50 value! The great news is, your sessions doesn't have to be completed (shot) until January 31, 2013! (well, you have until then to complete your session with me) The other awesome news is, you can even purchase this as a gift for someone for the Holiday! Oh and I am not restricting the type of sessions either. So, if you have a friend that is welcoming a new one next month and would love to purchase this for them, great you can! :)

If you have any questions, please don't hestiate to ask. I am here to answer all your questions.

and..

Happy Holidays everyone!

{Lifestyle Birthday}

I was pleased to photography this cutie back in March for her Easter session. However, during her session she wanted nothing to do with the camera. Out of her entire session, we got maybe 13 photos that were able to be saved and mom LOVED the ones we got. So, we decided to try again for her birthday..but this time we were doing a lifestyle session! Let me just tell you, it is so much better photographing a child in their natural element compared to a studio because I promise you they will corporate much better :)

Kaleb {3 months old}

In the end of June we welcomed Kaleb into this world. I was the lucky photographer chosen to do his Fresh 48 sessions and his newborn session. Which I loved all the way, especially since they were my first real newborn session. After 3 months, it will time to snuggle with Mr. Kaleb once again for his 3 month session. Within those 3 months he changed so much & had gotten so big! During our session, it was bitter cold, the grass was wet and he was tired. So, we also decided to do some of just mommy and daddy. Hope you guys enjoy them :)

Mason High School Senior Class of 2014 {Kaitie}

Remember Baby Kaleb from back in June? Well, guess what this is beautiful senior is Kaleb's aunt! The day that Kaleb was born, I remember her pulling me aside asking me if I would do her senior photo's because she really loved my work. Of course, I was already excited about the birth of Kaleb, and at that moment I got really excited because she would be the second senior I have EVER shot! Yes, that is right...I never shoot seniors so she was the second one. I spent months preparing for her session and when the day(s) finally came I knew I could rock this..well, let's just says she ROCKED it! Kaitie is a natural when it came to her session. She knew exactly what I wanted before I could even tell her.

The week before her session, Kaitie sent me a message letting me know that she wanted to do some of her session on a farm with a horse. At first I was scared, not because of the horse, but because I have NEVER done anything like this before. Turns out, it was beyond amazing and we loved it!

In the end, I had so much fun with Kaitie that I have decided to add Seniors as an everyday (or seasonal) sessions! I have always had pricing for seniors, but I never marketed for them. However, you will see more beautiful and amazing seniors next year for the Class of 2015!

Baby Kaleb {6 days new}

Back in October of 2012, I was randomly scrolling through Facebook and I came upon a post by my cousin. At first I did not pay attention at what the post said because I hardly ever see him post, then it hit me..read it read it. What I did not know at that time was that post would change our lives forever. At that very moment, I found out that my cousin (who is a year young than myself) was expecting! The crazy thing was, I was still pregnant with my daughter.

As the pregnancy went on, I spoke with his girlfriend about maternity photos and at first she did not want them. As her pregnancy went on she decided for Maternity photos. At that moment I gifted both of them a maternity session, a fresh 48 sessions (because she was 100% against me shooting her birth..I really tired too LOL) and a newborn session! When the day arrived, all I could do was sit by my phone and wait for the news. Finally I received the news about the birth of baby Kaleb, and we decided when I would make my appearance to shoot their Fresh 48 Session. (which is already posted) During that session, we decided on a date for Kaleb's newborn session. For those 6 days, I was go gitty and could not wait to be able to snuggle him for his session. In the end, I fell in love with his session (as I always do) and I also think mom and dad did too!

Welcome to the World Baby Boy

Do you remember me talking about a friend of mine that asked if I would do newborn photos of her son when he arrived? Well, if you don't do not worry! A while ago, a friend asked me if I would be interested in capturing her son once he was born because she did not like the hospital photographer, and of course I agreed! At this time, I only had done one Fresh 48 sessions and was really excited because I love doing them. Right before I got to the hospital that morning, baby boy was taken in for surgery, so we didn't get to do a whole long because I did not want to put him in much pain.

I do know that mommy, daddy, sister, grandma and baby boys aunts and uncles all were happy at the images that we did get. After shooting my last two Fresh 48 sessions, I fell in LOVE! It is always a blessing to share some time with the new parents and their family!

Baby Kaleb's Newborn Hospital Session

For the last 9 months I have been dying to get my hands on this super adorable baby boy! Since the day I was informed that momma was pregnant, I couldn't keep my mind of him. I was constantly asking mom how she was feeling and finally the day had come. On Tuesday I got the news that they were sending her in on Wednesday morning & that evening handsome baby Kaleb made his appearance into the world.

This session was not like anything I have ever done, but let me tell you I am beyond happy I was able to do his hospital photos. In fact, since doing this session I have fallen in love with them. Hospital sessions may be my favorite type of session yet, and I am thankful that Mommy & Daddy allowed me to photograph their handsome bundle of joy.

And on Wednesday, I will be able to snuggle up with Mr. Kaleb one more time for his newborn session! And guess what? I am doing a home newborn lifestyle session, something else I have wanted to do for a long time! Be on a lookout for his newborn session :)

3 month lifestyle session

On Wednesday, my beautiful little girl will turn 4 months old! I can not believe how fast the last 3.5 months has gone by. Since she is about to turn 4 months, I knew it was time to do her 3 month session. If I did not do the session this weekend, I would be unable to capture here for the 3rd month of her life.

So for this session, I decided to do a home lifestyle session. Well, let me just say for this part of her session we did a home lifestyle session! Actually, her session was more of a home lifestyle nursery session as the whole session was taken place in her nursery.

To be honest, I was a little nervous of the outcome because we all know that when we attempt something new it never comes out perfect. I am not saying that this session was 100% perfect because there is never a session that is that perfect. What I am saying is that this session came out much better than I would imagine it would of came out. I can not give myself full credit as I had my wonderful husband's help me & a wonderful happy baby girl the entire session.

If you love how these turned out and are interested in a home lifestyle session, I am doing a special for them. Please contact me for more information & to schedule your session.

A Spring Break Session

During Spring Break, I had the chance to hang out with 3 wonderful children. When I say wonderful, I seriously mean wonderful. These 3 children hold a special place in my heart. I am not only their photographer, I am also their nanny. Each one of the kids are brilliant and wonderful. I had such an amazing week with them last week, but our session together was even more amazing! With with any further due, I would like to present Nick, Alex & Bella!

Spring Mini Sessions

The Last couple of days, I have been tossing the idea of Spring Mini Sessions up in the air. I was not sure if I wanted to do them this year, but after posting on the facebook page and getting a good response out of them I decided that I will try once again for them. Please note that these sessions do not have a "theme" and can be used for children, family, couples, etc. (they can not be used for newborns, seniors, weddings & special events as there will not be enough time)

I have 3 different options for the mini's this time, which is something I never do. If you are interested in a sessions please contact me because they will fill up fast. I am devoting my entire day to these minis, so I do have more than 4 spot. However, in order to do them I need at least 3 bookings.

There will be a rain out date in case of a rain out. I am hoping that we are not rained out, but I must be prepared. That day will be Saturday May 25, 2013. Now, with that being said, Spring Mini Sessions will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013. The location is not yet determined but I will be announcing that very soon!

Lastly in order to secure your spot, your session must be paid in full. Also note that if you decide you want to upgrade your package, please let me know ASAP that way I can schedule according.

Thank you<3

Warm Weather "Lifestyle" Special

As winter ends (or is supposed to end) the warm weather brings us closer to spring. (or what is supposed to be spring) It is finally time for me to break out my gear and start shooting once again. When is the best time for me to do this? That's right Spring Break!

With that being said, I am doing an awesome introductory (Welcome to Spring) special. However, this special is only good this weekend. (March 27-March 30th) I am not limiting the number of sessions, nor am I giving times for each day. I am open all weekend for sessions.

Usually, I state that my specials are for a certain "event". For example I usually state this special is for only children, or only family. However, I am not doing that this time. These sessions are open to any type of session that I shoot, for the most part. (I do apologize but weddings, newborns, seniors and hospitals are not included) Now, there is one conditions to these sessions and that is that the session must take place within 20 miles of 48152.

And now for what you have been waiting for; the special:

$50 (plus tax) gets you the following:
  • Half hour session (within 20 miles of  48152)
  • Session Disk (with at least 10 images)
 Sessions are NOT limited, unless of course I completly fill up. If you have any further questions or want to book your sessions, please contact me.

tiffanyringrosephotography@gmail.com

I look forward to your questions!

Tiffany

The Big Announcement

Last night I was talking with a friend when she asked if if I would be interested in taking some photo's of her daughter after she was born on Monday afternoon. Since, my daughter was born back in December I have had a urge to get into Birth Photography. Something about birth photography has gotten me hooked, but I can not explain exactly what.

Although, I am not ready to shoot a live birth just yet; I have decided that I would start with something a little different than Birth Photography. As of last night, I am now offering "Newborn Hospital Photography" I get it, when you think of Hospital Photography, you think of the company that the hospital contracts out and charges an arm and a leg. Don't get me wrong, a lot of parents want the Hospital Photographer because they want to capture their new additional at that moment. I get it, I really do. As a new mom, I did not use the Hospital Photographer; instead I was up out of bed photographing my daughter. That is why I decided that "Newborn Hospital Photography" would be a great addition to my services. I am not a photographer that usually does Newborn Photography, but this is different. This would be just like my other sessions, it's a lifestyle session. It is a session documenting the new babies first days here on Earth.

So, with that being said; I am doing Portfolio building for my new service of Newborn Hospital Photography. Once, I get set with this service and I fully grasp the low lighting environment I will officially launch my Birth Photography Service. Therefore, for a limited time and a limited amount of sessions (I have not decided how long, or how many) I will be offering a "Portfolio building" special price.  As of now this special price is $150 and includes the following:

For $150 you will receive:
  • 1 Hour Session in your Hospital Room/Nursery (if allowed)
  •  Photo's of the newborn, photo's with mom/dad, photos with sibling, photos with grandparents, etc
  • An Image Disk with print rights (this is not a copyright release, this is a release to print images)
  • 25% off print packages and Specialty items (Gallery Wraps, etc.)

Like I said, this is a limited time and for a limited amount of sessions. If you are interested in a Newborn Hospital Session, please contact via email.

Please Note: The images used in this post where NOT taken by myself. Photo credit are given to the following Photographers:

Introducting

Last night, I was playing around in Photoshop and came across some awesome 10x20 storyboard templates. Playing around made me realize that storyboards are a wonderful product. So, I would like to introduce you to the newest product(s) to Tiffany Ringrose Photography!

Please Note: This is not my only storyboard. I do have other templates for the 10x20 as well as templates for 5x5, 10x10.  I also can make my very own storyboards. I can not wait to start offering these products when the new pricing takes affect.

New Pricing

It has come to my attention that I have not blogged much in the last couple of months. It is kind of crazy seeing that I promised to start blogging more often, and it turns out I am back to the way I used to blog. Fear no more, I am back for real when it comes to blogging and it starts now.

As I say that, I would like to announce that I have officially found a new amazing printing lab! My last lab was great, but I did encounter some problems with them that will be fixed with this new lab. Which means, no more bent images during shipping. I will no longer have to contact them and have them replace my order because my images are bent! Now, with that being said I do have to let everyone know that I did have to rework prices once again. Therefore, new pricing does go into affect starting this Monday March 25, 2013. If you would like to lock in the current pricing you have until the end of tomorrow evening to book your session with your deposit. (Sunday March 24, 2013)

If there are any questions at all regarding the new pricing, please contact me via email at: tiffanyringrosephotography@gmail.com

Please note: These are portrait sessions only. Contact for weddings, special engagements, seniors, product modeling and lifestyle sessions.

Now, like I said before I do promise to start blogging more often to keep you guys updated. I really do mean that this time!

Hope to talk to you soon,
Tiffany

Happy New Year

First and Foremost, Happy New Year Everyone!

Anyways, we are only 15 days into 2013 and there are so many things happening here. First, if you didn't notice I have revamped this entire blog. New design, new cover photo. Hope you all like it because I do. I think it fits my personality as a photographer, what do you think?

Next, if you did not notice I have been off on my Maternity leave. I am excited to get back shooting, but I must be cleared by my doctor first. Here are the reasons: After giving birth to my Daughter (who will be a month old Thursday) I was re-admitted to the hospital for postpartum preeclasima. I am currently on 5 different medications, but was told I will be off of them by my 6 week appointment. Let's just hope this actually happens. During my time off, I have been able to capture some of my daughter's milestones (Christmas)  and was able to kind of shoot a few 3 week photos. However, during the 3 week session my camera decided to completely give up on me and I am currently out of a camera. However, HAVE NO FEAR I will have a camera because I am going to buy a new one! Woah, I finally get a new camera because this time I don't only want one, I NEED one!

Now, I would like to introduce you to my daughter: Emmalynn Grace Ringrose. She was born on December 17, 2012 at 6:39pm. She was 7 pound 12 ounces and was almost 21 inches long!

I did want to let everyone know that as of January 1, 2013 my Wedding prices have increased just a little bit. Again do not fear, if you book on or before January 31, 2013 you will receive $100 off and a FREE 16x20 print. Don't worry if you are unable to book by then, I plan on doing another special later on in the season. I also want to point out that as of February 1, 2013 my portrait prices will also be changing. However, if you book on or before January 31, 2013 you will receive the 2012 portrait prices.

As I do each and every year I want to do contest each month, but as always I do not know what the contest should be. All I do know is the following

February: Valentines Day?
March: Easter (it's on the 1st of April)
April:
May: Mommy & Me
June: Daddy & Me
July:
August: Fun in the Sun?
September:
October:
November: Christmas
December:

Any suggestions are welcomed. You can comment here, email me or facebook me.

I look forward to a great 2013!
