As you all know, I am a huge Detroit Lions fan and that is why I have decided that 

The Tiffany Ringrose Photography July Contest is a:

Detroit Lions contest!

• A half hour photo session, at the beach locations of photographer’s choice. (to be determined)
• FULL original images on a DVD with print rights
• Half off on location print packages
• The winner must contact me via email with in 24 hour to claim their prize!

In order to enter the contest you must:

• This contest is open to all children, teens and adults
• You must submit your photo to me via email (NOT FACEBOOK) 
• Your photo MUST include Detroit Lions gear (jersey, shirt, so forth)
• Only 1 photo per entry.(Must be Lions Gear!)
• I will accept entries until 10:00 pm on Tuesday July 3, 2012. (I will accept them, if they are in my email by 10:00pm that evening, NO Later!) tiffanyringrosephotography@gmail.com (after this date and time, I will close entries)
• The contest begins on Wednesday morning (between 8am-11am) and will end on Saturday July 16, 2012! (at about 8pm..Before if I chose so)
• In order to win the contest, you will need to have all friends and family members vote by "liking" the picture. (they will need to like the Tiffany Ringrose Photography page first. Votes that are not part of my fan page will NOT be counted. And, YES I will be checking!)
• Tiffany Ringrose Photography is a family environment, all trash talk will be deleted and the constant will be eliminated period! (no warnings will be given this time)
• The winner is unable to transfer, or redeem the prize for cash.
• This contest is NOT affiliated with Facebook by any means; therefore they are not responsible if the contest is cancelled.
• The winner must book a session by Sunday August 12, 2012.
• The winner cannot combine this with another offer or discount. 
• I am subject to canceling or changing the contest at anytime. (I must get at least 10 entries to run the contest)

Congratulations Graduate!

This past Saturday was super exciting for Kristi & her family. Although it was a super busy day, they were able to enjoy the day and celebrate her HUGE achievements! On Saturday June 23, 2012 Kristi graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Masters in Information Technology. And to celebrate I was invited to the party, and was able to capture some amazing moments!

If you have no idea who Kristi is, let me give you a little bit of a background. Kristi is a single mother of 3 beautiful child. And when I say, beautiful I truly mean it. She has the most supportive boyfriend in the world and best of all...I am her nanny! That is right, I get to watch them beautiful children of her's each and everyday!!

6 week contest!

So, I haven't exactly told you guys but my husband and I are expecting our first child. In about 6 weeks we will find out the sex of our child and was wondering what everyone's opinions were.  Who ever guesses right, gets a FREE image with their session.

So here is the deal/rules:

1. Must like the Tiffany Ringrose Photography Page

2. Must comment on this post if you think it is a boy or girl

3. In that comment you must tell me why you think its a boy or girl

4. Who ever guesses correctly will win a FREE edited image on a disk with release with their booked session. (free session are not included)

This is the most recent pictures I have (12 wks 6 days) and I am now 14 wks 2 days. I guess I should update the photo to show you guys. (which I promise to do! I will add each weeks to this post)

I know I already posted a photo from this week, but here is another one that actually makes me look a little more pregnant. (14 wks 4 days)

Here is one in a cute dress (that I got just because but decided it would be a great dress for the weddings I have this month) You can't really see the belly much since it is a full body shot, but I am 15 wks 2 days here.

I am 16 weeks today (July 4th) which means, you only have 4 more weeks to enter this contest!!

A little bigger can't you tell? In this photo, I am 18wks3days. Only a week and a half til we find out, and only a week and a half until the contest is over!

• This contest is open to all children, teens and adults
• You must submit your photo to me via email (NOT FACEBOOK)
• Only 1 photo per entry. (you must be at the beach in the sand)
• I will accept entries until 10:00 pm on Monday June 25, 2012. (I will accept them, if they are in my email by 10:00pm that evening, NO Later!) tiffanyringrosephotography@gmail.com (after this date and time, I will close entries)

And the winner is...

For the last week or so, you guys have been reading my blog and telling me what you like about my work and what you think I should improve on. Many of you stated that my location is an inconvenience and a bit far from you guys. Unfortunately, this is something that I am unable to change for the reason of: My studio is an in home studio located in my home in the City of Livonia. However, I do travel and do on location sessions across the Metro Detroit area! In fact, I would rather shoot outdoors, then be cooped up in my studio all day long. Therefore, if you are in the Downriver area..fear no more..I am here for all on location sessions! The next thing is that a few of you stated that  you thought my post processing editing was a bit much. Let me explain this, I am actually in the process of learning to use my Photoshop CS5. (I used to use Photoshop elements) I am trying all kinds of different ways of editing, so if you stick with me in the end your photos will be just unbelievably amazing!

New Summer Hours

As summer is approaching, I have decided that I would changing the hours of the studio..once again.

Originally, I was not shooting during the week because I would be working until 7pm every night. However, I will be out of work by 330pm Monday-Friday and have decided that I will be doing studio sessions and on locations (in the Livona/Farmington area only) from 4pm-8pm. Just as originally planned I will still be shooting weekends in studio and ALL on location sessions.

Contest Update

If you have been on facebook you might have noticed that I made a status updated saying,

 "I've had a few people contact me because they did post for the contest but it never came though. Therefore, I have decided to extend the contest until Sunday at 8pm! Which means you still have time to enter..so go!

This here is 100% true, and have extended it until this Sunday June 17, 2012. My reasons for doing this are as followed:

1. I have been thinking about it since last night. 
2. It would give you a better chance to have your friends enter
3. A few people were messaging me letting me know that they did enter but they don't see their comment.

Therefore, I figured why not just extend it, so it is a longer running contest, we can get some new faces and it also gives the people who DID enter a chance to fix and re enter the contest.

Now, if you had no idea I get an email for each and every comment that is made on this blog. I do want to thank everyone who has entered to far, it is truly a blessing that you guys would trust me and actually enter my contest! Thank you so much for all your kind words and for the things I can improve on.  Although, a couple people stated that I should move my studio back downriver, I hate to break it to you guys but unfortunately that is not an option since I do live in Livonia and have a home studio. However, I do ON LOCATION sessions most of the time, and wouldn't mind traveling downriver. Although traveling downriver is between 20-45 miles. (24 from my home to Southgate)   I am willing to travel to Heritage Park in Taylor for almost no extra charge :) Anywhere from that, unfortunately I would have to charge because of the distance.

Ready, Set, PLAY! 

Editing

This evening I decided to sit down at my new desktop (which is a lot faster than the laptop I was using) and try to edit some of my own wedding pictures. For any of you that didn't know last June I got married to my wonderful husband. So, since it has been a little over a year now I decided that it was time to sit down, look at my photos and start editing them. (its about time, its only been over a year)

After spending about an hour or so on photoshop playing around with pre-made actions, I decided to try it on my own. Once doing this, I found out just how amazing editing without actions is. (although, I never figured out how to use the actions lol) Anyways, my point is that I wanted to show you guys exaclty what about 10 minutes of my editing can do. (with a before and after) 

So, now do you guys understand why I love editing your photos so much? Why most of the ones I end up putting on facebook, my bog or website are edits. Although, I do tend to put up the ones I find absolutely perfect as well. (which are most of them, but I love editing as much as shooting)
